Once the tree/s have become accustomed to their growing conditions some pruning may be required to ensure the correct structure of the tree.

A strong single leader should be encouraged to give the tree the best chance of development, as should the maintenance of strong structural limbs.

Even a few minutes spent correcting a tree in the early stages can prevent lengthy and expensive remedial work in the future.
